Weekly Event - Every Saturday: 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM (ET)
Have you always wanted to start, own, and manage your very own business?
Do you have an idea for a business, but are not sure of the next steps to take?
Have you started your business, but need some assistance to make it a success?
If the answer to any of these questions is Yes, then the Entrepreneurs' Boot Camp is for you. CEO READY, LLC, is offering a one-of-a-kind opportunity for Michigan entrepreneurs and small business owners to participate in a series of hands-on workshops.
The Boot Camp Series
The Entrepreneurs’ Boot Camp is a series of “hands-on” business workshops covering a 12-week period. The Boot Camp aims to take anyone interested in starting, managing, and thriving in a small business environment from business formation to business launch and management. Students need only have the drive and determination to succeed with their own business. The Boot Camp will help students answer many questions concerning starting and managing their own business, including:
• What does it really take to succeed in business by myself?
• What is a good business concept?
• How can I determine if my idea is a good one?
• How do I organize a corporation or LLC in Michigan?
• What is a business model and does my business model make sense?
• Do I really need a business plan? If so, how can I write a business plan?
• Is there a market for my product or service?
• How do I define my customer and target market?
• How do I finance my business?
• How do I make sense of the numbers and which numbers really matter?
• How do I market my product or service efficiently, but economically?
• How do I market on the Internet or via e-mail?
• What is guerrilla marketing?
• How do I go about hiring employees?
• What taxes must I pay for my business and as an individual?
Students will either develop a new business idea or refine an existing business idea with the assistance and guidance from Boot Camp business counselors. Upon completing the 12-week Boot Camp, students will have the opportunity to launch their business on some level depending upon available funding, resources, and time allocation. Students will also design an investor presentation and proposal that best positions their start-up or existing business for funding.
At the end of the day, entrepreneurs want the personal fulfillment and challenge of running their own business. Our Boot Camp workshops will motivate, train, teach, and assist entrepreneurs and small business owners with the “art of making the loot.” (that’s money, bread, greenbacks…). It’s like having a CEO in your back pocket!
Boot Camp Counselors
A team of experienced educators and successful entrepreneurs will work with students, providing a fun and interactive experience. They will introduce ideas and concepts, and show how to apply them to your current or start-up business. A number of guest educators and entrepreneurs will share their experiences, challenges, successes, and advice throughout the course of the Boot Camp.
Robert Bellenir, Senior Business Counselor at CEO READY, LLC, and Cleary University professor will be your lead business counselor for the March 2009 Boot Camp Series. Mr. Bellenir will be complimented by a host of educators and professionals from all the major disciplines, including; accounting, advertising, finance, human resource management, information technology, leadership, marketing (traditional and electronic), organizational development, and taxation.

The fee for attending the 12-week Boot Camp Series is $1,950 and includes instruction, a resource binder, course materials and handouts, access to many online tools and resources, and student website dedicated to developing their particular business. Each student will also receive one-hour of consultation time outside of class on any topic necessary to start and launch a student’s business. Each Boot Camp Series is limited to only 10 students.
